Terms & Conditions

Use of this site means acceptance of these terms. A visitor who does not agree with them should stop using the site and its tools.

This privately owned resource is not affiliated with Polk County, any sheriff, jail, corrections department, or government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening service. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

The site is a private reference with no authority over a government office. It keeps no official jail, release, corrections, or court record and cannot confirm custody, release a person, or file a document.

Its content points to Polk County and Florida inmate-record resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must be lawful and must not interfere with another person or the service.

  • Do not violate a law through the site.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
  • Do not use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision.
  • Do not try to enter an account, server, or system without authority.
  • Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools.
  • Do not disrupt access or performance for others.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It and its advertising partners do not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. A user agrees not to rely on site data for:

  • Hiring, firing, or another employment decision
  • Tenant selection or housing eligibility
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance premiums
  • A license, permit, or government-benefit decision
  • Any other purpose governed by the FCRA

Outside Links and Tools

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections sites, release records, government portals, legal resources, or outside search providers. A link is not an endorsement. This site is not responsible for an outside service's content, privacy practices, terms, availability, or data handling. Review the destination's rules before using it.

Service Provided As Is

All content and functions are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made about:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or currentness
  • Continuous or uninterrupted operation
  • Freedom from errors, defects, or security flaws
  • The depth or quality of a partner's search result

Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement by PCSO, FDC, a court, or another agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its owners, operators, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on the site.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that result from the user's conduct, use of the service, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Polk County Released Inmates or its content partners unless stated otherwise. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or republished without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may be changed at any time. A revised version takes effect when posted, and continued use after posting means acceptance of the update.

Suspension of Access

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Florida Law Applies

Florida law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Florida.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
